Further production steps are required for the manufacture of metal and metal/ soft material gaskets. Here, the starting material is cut into strips and bent with an automatic bending machine. This procedure has several reasons, such as the economic component and the production of special dimensions of the desired gasket. After the strips have been bent, they are welded together and passed on for further processing.
