Football tournament for a good cause

Successful start to the year for our Möller sealing sharks!

Our Möller Dichtungshaie were back in action at the start of the year. On January 4, 2025, the 4th Sport 2000 Koppius Cup took place in the Salzland sports hall in Stassfurt. A total of ten teams with creative names such as “Udinese Calcium” or “Torschusspanik” competed and offered the 350 spectators first-class football magic.

The motto of the event was: “Playing for a good cause”. All proceeds will go to the Central German Children's Cancer Research Center and the families of the victims of the tragic attack on the Magdeburg Christmas market.

Although our “sharks” only managed 8th place, this did not dampen the good mood. The biggest success of the day was the impressive 9,000 euros raised - amazing!

A big thank you goes to Sportfreunde Wadentest for organizing this fantastic event. We are delighted that we were able to be part of this event and look forward to further joint activities.
